I found this article by Elizabeth Austin to be very informative and moving. Although I must admit, it stirred up some strong emotions and conflicting feelings.
In Lymphomania, I mention the airline safety example: safely secure your oxygen mask before assisting others. You cannot help others if you do not first help yourself.
